AN OPEN INVITATION
Training as a Jungian Analytical Psychotherapist with the West Midlands Institute of Psychotherapy
Saturday 14th June 2008 1.30pm to 2.30pm
at The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, University of Birmingham (Edgbaston Campus)
The Jungian Training in Analytical Psychotherapy is one of the analytic trainings of the West Midlands Institute of Psychotherapy (WMIP).
The Jungian Training aims to provide an experience of learning from which its graduates will qualify as competent and responsible analytical psychotherapists.
Fundamental to the ethos of the training is the understanding that the activity of learning is a function of the self and of the process of individuation, as conceived by Jung and developed in post-Jungian thinking.
This is an opportunity to discuss informally with Committee members what is involved in our training.
There is no charge and everyone interested in exploring more about the training is very welcome to attend.
Please book a place by contacting our Administrator, Sue Harford, on 0870 7518828 or by emailing jtc@wmip.org
Please note that this discussion proceeds the Public Lecture taking place from 10.15am – 12.45pm, where Renos Papadopoulos will present his paper “Adversity-Activated Development in the Context of Current Psychoanalytic Trends” (prior booking for this lecture is required).
Members of the Jungian Training Committee: Athina Villia-Gosling, Basia Gasiorek, Heather McCartney, Ann Morley, John Nicholas, Jenny Stokes
