By car from the South West

Take M5, leave at junction 3 along A456 (becomes Hagley Road). Proceed to Five Ways island. At this island come back on yourself along Hagley Road to the first set of traffic lights. Turn left into Highfield Road. Go straight across next set of traffic lights. The Institute's car park is the first entrance on the left by the high wall.

By car from the North

Take M6, leave at junction 6 (Spaghetti junction). Follow signs for ring road west/M5 along A38M (Aston Expressway). Follow signs to Edgbaston. At Five Ways island take A456 (Hagley Road) to junction with Highfield Road, turn left. Go straight across the next set of traffic lights. The Institute's car park is the first entrance on the left by the high wall.

By car from the South East

Take A41 from Solihull to Edgbaston into Priory Road. At island bear left into Church Road, straight over traffic lights, where traffic merges with you. Turn right by the church and then left into Highfield Road. The Institute's car park is on the right hand side just before the traffic lights.

By rail, bus or coach

Taxi ranks outside Birmingham New Street station and outside Digbeth coach station. Trains from New Street station to Fiveways station run every few minutes. Catch No. 9 bus which takes you to the Hagley
